SpecFilm is a ready-to-use evaporation retardant sprayed onto fresh concrete flatwork to stop wind and sun from pulling moisture out before the pour can set evenly — exactly the failure mode that shows up as plastic shrinkage cracking on hot, dry, or windy jobsites. It's dyed pink so crews can see coverage as they spray, comes pre-diluted at an optimum 5:1 ratio, and burns off cleanly at final set without leaving residue that would interfere with a cure or sealer applied afterward.
