Zero-VOC damp-proofing / vapor barrier coating

A zero-VOC asphalt emulsion damp-proofing coating that seals out liquid water while still letting vapor escape from the substrate behind it — the difference between damp-proofing and trapping moisture where it will cause problems later. Max-A-Seal DP meets ASTM D1227 Type III, stays flexible down to -10°F, and stretches to 500% elongation, so it moves with minor substrate cracking instead of failing at it. Brush, roller, or spray-applied at 40 to 100 sq ft per gallon depending on coverage needs, compatible with ICF forms, and resistant to acid, salt, and biological attack once cured.
